FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What Trigner is, where your data lives, and what “proof” means here.
Short answers to the questions a founder should ask before using the alpha.
What is Trigner?
Trigner is a startup reality engine: a workspace for turning assumptions into Proof Missions, recording evidence, making explicit decisions and tracking what happened afterward.
Does Trigner tell me whether my startup will succeed?
No. Trigner deliberately avoids a fake success score. It helps expose important assumptions and organize evidence, but real startup outcomes remain uncertain.
Is the Reality Check generated by AI?
In the current build, the public Reality Check uses a deterministic rules engine in the application code. Other future features may use AI, and the product is designed to label simulation or inference separately from verified evidence.
What counts as evidence?
Evidence should come from reality: specific customer interviews, observed behavior, commitments, payments, repeated use, retention or other observable outcomes. Founder belief and simulation can guide a test, but they are not the same thing as evidence.
Where is my startup workspace stored?
The active workspace is designed to live in your browser's local storage. Trigner provides Vault controls to export, restore and erase browser-local data.
Does Trigner use analytics cookies?
Optional product telemetry is off by default and requires an affirmative choice. The current build does not include advertising networks or third-party analytics scripts such as Google Analytics.
Can I use Trigner if I reject optional analytics?
Yes. Essential workspace and recovery functionality continues to work without optional product analytics.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. The Vault includes workspace export, full local-data export, restore and deletion controls. You can also clear site data in your browser, but export anything important first.
Do I need an account?
The current founding alpha does not provide user accounts. The active workspace is browser-local, so changing browsers/devices will not automatically move your workspace unless you export and restore it.
Is Trigner free?
The current testing version is free and pre-commercial. Pricing, if introduced later, will be disclosed before paid service is activated.
Should I put confidential or regulated information into Trigner?
Not in the current alpha. Avoid passwords, payment-card data, government identifiers, health/special-category data and confidential customer information unless a future feature is expressly designed and documented for it.
Who makes the final startup decision?
You do. Trigner can organize evidence, show contradictions and surface decision context. It does not replace founder judgment.
